We are seeking an established academic leader eligible for appointment as an Associate or full Professor to direct the Division, which provides care for children and adults with genetic conditions and inborn errors of metabolism in both inpatient and outpatient settings. The Division has been competitive in obtaining research funding, clinical trials and in the in training of medical students and residents. The Department of Pediatrics is a large academic department with over 100 full-time faculty and ranks in the top 10 nationally in NIH funding.
Our goal is to identify an individual with vision to lead the Division in future achievement. Funds to develop this mission will be available, including the opportunity to recruit additional faculty members in both the research and clinical tracks. Other highlights include:

The successful candidate will have an MD, MD/PhD, PhD or equivalent with a sustained record of scholarly activity; National/International recognition as demonstrated through involvement in academic/professional societies; demonstrated leadership in a medical school or academic medical center setting.
