Advanced Practice Registered Nurses / Physician Assistants
About the Position: South Lane Mental Health is seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to join our team. Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners (PMHNP) work collaboratively with counseling and social work team members in a strengths-based, team approach.
Position Duties: •Work as a member of a team providing services to clients with emotional problems and/ or psychiatric disabilities. •Provide psychiatric assessments for medication management, prescription and monitoring of psychiatric medications, and evaluation of effectiveness of medications and problems associated with the prescription of medications. Provide services in a trauma-informed, evidence-based manner. •Provide consultation, treatment planning, and treatment services with counselors, case managers, and other treatment team members. •Review and approve assessment and services identified in the ISSP for each individual receiving mental health services for one or more continuous years. •Follow all regulations and comply with all rules and standards for Oregon PMHNP. Assist SLMH staff in complying with all regulations governing the use of psychiatric medications.
