The Pride Institute is the nationâ€™s first and leading provider of residential and outpatient treatment programs exclusively treating substance abuse and mental health needs of the LGBTQ+ community. With a Residential program in Eden Prairie, MN that provides integrated treatment services for adults with chemical dependency, sexual compulsivity, and co-occurring disorders, and Intensive Out-Patient (IOP) programs in the Uptown area of Minneapolis and soon in Rochester, we have been providing our clients a comfortable, safe alternative to traditional treatment programs for over 30 years.
We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner who is available to work a very flexible 20-32 hours per weekÂ schedule to become part of our supportive and compassionate team.Â Pride Staff become eligible for full-time benefits at 30 hours per week.Â Â Â
The Nurse Practitioner will see clients at our Eden Prairie Residential facility and will:
Perform physical examinations and preventive health measures within prescribed guidelines.
Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to identify and assess clientsâ€™ clinical problems and health care needs.
Record physical findings, and formulate plans and prognoses, based on clientsâ€™ conditions.
Collaborate with medical staff and other health professionals to prepare comprehensive client care plans.
Participate in treatment team meetings for assigned clients.
