Arrowhead Behavioral Health is seeking a full-time second shift House Supervisor/Nurse EducatorÂ to add to it's Nursing Department.
The House Supervisor/Nurse Educator â€" Second Shift is responsible for the delivery of quality nursing care for all the inpatient and outpatient units as well as Assessment.Â The House Supervisor has the authority to adjust staffing as necessary for the day, night and weekend shifts. The House Supervisor/Nurse Educator - Second Shift will oversee all facility activities including, but not limited to admissions, discharges, crisis intervention, seclusion/restraint, involuntary admission process, relieving for rest or meal breaks.Â Establish, engage in and assist with the development of clinical knowledge and skills of the Nursing Staff. Create staff competencies in accordance with State Regulations.Â Participates in the orientation of new hires. The House Supervisor/Nurse Educator â€" Second Shift will be responsible for assessing, organizing, coordinating, implementing, instructing and evaluating specific education programs.Â This position is also the Nurse Educator requiring oversight and assistance in maintaining regulatory standards by engaging in performance improvement activities and education of new and existing nursing staff within the nursing department.Â This position will work with the interdisciplinary team to assure efficient communication within the healthcare team related to educational needs of the nursing staff.
