MedStar PromptCare is currently seeking a Regional Lead PA with Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine experience for our D.C. & MD region locations.
Our urgent care sites are busy and well-equipped centers that handle acute-care walk-in patients/cases. You will have excellent opportunities to strengthen your expertise clinically as well as advance your career in leadership. You must be licensed or eligible for licensure in DC, Maryland and Virginia. Typical clinical procedures may include: Suturing, fracture care/splinting, reading wet x-rays, as well as interpreting EKGs.
As a leader you will be expected to conduct various training courses, attend leadership meetings, conduct chart reviews, evaluate safety events and coaching, assist with annual reviews, as well as assist with the hiring and training of new APC providers. A minimum of 3 years working in urgent care or emergency medicine as a PA is required, and closely related administrative experience is desired.
