The Nurse Manager (RN) serves as the Unit Leader, and has responsibility for ensuring the overall efficient operation of the department in various aspects including creating, maintaining and managing a therapeutic milieu within the treatment program to ensure the safety of patients and staff.
24-hour responsibility for the functioning of the unitâ€™s program
Supervising RNs,Â LPNs, MHTs, and ancillary staff by making assignments and monitoring patient care
Providing quality nursing care to meet identified patient outcomes
Carrying out assigned functions according to philosophy, goal and objectives of the hospital and program unit
Contributing as an active part of the treatment team
