Under the direct supervision of a California Licensed RN, provides routine bedside nursing care; receives and provides information regarding patient care needs.The supervising registered nurse may delegate to the permittee any function taught in the permitteeâ��s basic nursing program which, in the judgement of the supervising registered nurse, the permittee is capable of performing. The supervising RN will be on the patient care unit with the IP whenever the IP is present.
EDUCATION / TRAINING / EXPERIENCE:
Must have completed a nursing program at a CA Community College or Baccalaureate equivalent. Must have been issued a California Interim permit.
LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS:
AHA-BLS-HCP Required, Current CA BRN Interim Permit.
