Responsible for creating patient accounts from scheduled data received from healthcare providers including communication with patients, physician staff and healthcare provider for purposes of collecting and verifying patient demographic information.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Creates patient accounts from scheduled data received from healthcare provider. (Quality is a must)
Refers all customer quality of care and complaint issues to immediate supervisor - also any issues that the Rep deems to be out of his or her control.
Enters appropriate documentation and selects the correct activity code resulting in proper transmission of necessary information.
Coordinates and communicates with CPAS staff to facilitate the financial clearance process.
Must be able to multitask in a fast pace environment without compromising quality and production.
This position carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with guidelines, policies and procedures and applicable laws. Supervisory responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Ability to work successfully in a fast paced environment with frequent interruptions
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
Include minimum education, technical training, and/or experience required to perform the job.
High School Diploma or equivalent
1 - 2 years experience in Customer Service or related call center environment
1 - 2 years administrative experience in medical facility, health insurance, or related area preferred
