This Senior Telemedicine Coordinator is responsible for the research, design, coordination, and implementation activities supporting telehealth. This position works closely with Telehealth and Clinical Leadership to define strategic direction of telehealth initiatives and will be responsible for implementing telehealth services related to those decisions. The senior coordinator will also identify and implement continuous process improvement strategies designed to streamline technical and operational efficiencies in the telehealth process for clinicians, operations and consumers. They will coordinate with other Information Systems Teams, Practice Administration and Physician Leaders to ensure all aspects of telehealth operations are operational 24/7. This position will provider mentorship to the Telehealth Coordinators.
Provide implementation and coordination of all aspects of telehealth operations
Configure and optimize operation of telehealth technology and peripheral medical devices. Ensure operational 24/7
Work with leaders throughout Nemours to understand strategy and implement solutions based on that strategy
Evaluate inefficient processes and design solutions for operational and technical efficiency
Accurately document and track activity and report data to telehealth and clinical leadership
Maintain inventory of all technical equipment supporting telehealth operations
Develop appropriate metrics for reporting productivity, performance and value to the organization
Ensure standard processes are documented as Reliable Methods
Demonstrate knowledge of optimal workflow processes and assists end users in implementation, operations, and training.
Provide general assistance to support telehealth operations
Provides on-call off hours support of telehealth operations
Ability to work as a team member with excellent communication and customer service skills necessary to effectively contribute to a creative group
Works with all areas of the business to enhance and support telehealth operations
Ability to manage projects as appropriate
