Position Summary: This position oversees the Charge Reconciliation & Scheduling for the Surgical Services department. Responsible for department support staff to include Sterile Processing, Schedulers, Charge Processors, Clerical Staff, Anesthesia Techs, and Surgical Attendants/PCAï¿½s. Accountable for the operational processes in the department. This position collaborates with the Charge nurse(s) and Materials Management to assure proper instrumentation is scheduled as requested in a timely manner for all surgical cases. Provides guidance and support to nursing, sterile processing, in collaboration with nursing leadership.

Minimum Education: Associates Degree from accredited college required. Bachelorï¿½s Degree from accredited college or university in Healthcare Administration, Business or other healthcare related field preferred.
Minimum Experience: Three years of Surgical Services experience required. Background in OR, Sterile Processing, and/or Supply Management.
Required Certifications/Registrations/Licenses: American Heart Association BLS CPR certification required.
