The Director of Leadership and Talent Development, under the general guidance of the VP, Organization Design and Effectiveness, is responsible for designing and delivering leadership training, and advanced talent development programs that raise the capabilities of Conifer Health leaders. The director administers our talent and performance management programs including leadership talent reviews and succession programs, as well as the annual performance management cycle for all Confer team members. The position reports to the VP of Organization Design and Effectiveness.
Primary responsibility for the delivery of leadership development courses; Trains, develops and supports leadership development faculty; Coordinates Client Delivery Development Program rotations; Administers selection and talent assessments; Primary responsibility for the annual performance management program; Primary responsibility for annual 9 box talent review process and Maintains succession plans
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Leadership Development ï¿½ Responsible for the administration and delivery of leadership development programs. In the course of fulfilling this responsibility may conduct needs assessments, and independently or through others, design and develop content. Will lead delivery of content directly or through others, and using a variety of modalities. Will regularly evaluate effectiveness of curriculum and modify, introduce additional programming, or leverage supporting development activities to improve and enhance leadership capability.
Talent Development ï¿½ Works with senior company leadership and human resources partners to leverage talent assessment tools, to regularly assess the capabilities of leaders and to create comprehensive development programs and plans that build capability. Ensures we have leaders capable of succession into the most senior roles within the organization.
Performance Management ï¿½ Responsible for administering performance management program. Includes understanding company strategy on performance management, and developing the annual program for Conifer including timeline, communications and training. Works through and with human resources partners, HR operations, and corporate communications to plan, communicate, train and drive the participation of team members and leaders in the performance cycle each year.

Supervisory responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
