Advanced Practice Registered Nurses / Physician Assistants
Our Lady of Lourdes Memorial Hospital is seeking a Wound Care Nurse Practitioner to join their Multidisciplinary Outpatient Wound Care Program located on the main hospital campus. The nurse practitioner will be provided with specialty training in wound management and will evaluate patients, as well as perform procedures, including I&D, biopsy, selective and excisional debridement and application of skin substitutes in the clinic setting. Work with a dedicated nurse who will assist in the care of patients, and get the opportunity to collaborate with providers of several specialties in the development of a plan of care to help the patients' progress toward healing. Previous wound care experience preferred, however a minimum of 2 years of experience in either primary care or a specialty program will be considered
Experience in hyperbaric oxygen therapy is preferred, but not necessary
Graduation from an accredited school of nursing with an MSN required
Certification as a Nurse Practitioner required
Active License to practice in New York State required
Successful completion of hospital credentialing process required
Current BLS/ACLS certification required
