Multi-Organ Abdominal Transplant Surgeon

The Comprehensive Transplant Center and Division of Organ Transplantation at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine seeks a full-time non-tenure-eligible Clinician-Educator at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor. Responsibilities include deceased and living donor kidney and liver transplantation, pancreas transplantation, small volumes of general abdominal procedures, hepatobiliary, and dialysis access procedures. Qualified candidates will be multi-organ transplant surgeons who have their MD, are board certified in General Surgery, have completed a 2-year ASTS accredited Abdominal Organ Transplant Fellowship, have 3-5 years post-fellowship experience as an attending transplant surgeon, are eligible for licensure in the State of Illinois, and are eligible to work in the United States. This position is primarily clinical; candidates with interest in clinical, translational, basic science or outcomes research will also be considered.
