Call center has a high volume of incoming calls. This requires a PSR to schedule and reschedule appointments for 38 providers. PSR handles an average of 1800 incoming calls a month. The PSR is also responsible for calling the clinics, sending patient cases, registering patients, and adding insurance information in the system. Will need to backfill in order to efficiently maintain the call center call volume.
Collects co-pays and post charges.
Charge entry and patient balance processing.
Distributes information to patients regarding office policies, procedures, information about the practice, etc.
Explain and enroll patients in the patient portal.
Required: High school diploma/GED. Preferred: Completion of medical office assistant program
Required: Must have 2 years of experience working in a medical office setting
