SummaryBusiness System Analyst is responsible for the build, maintenance, support, and of the EpicCare Clinical application in coordination with other Epic team members. This position may include but are not limited to clinical, fiscal, IS and business operations. This position will be responsible for participating in new functionality build, implementation of changes to existing clinic workflow, updating current build, and resolution management. This position will be responsible for security of access to the applications and maintains compliance with regulatory agencies, federal mandates (HIPAA), medical necessity and audit criteria/documentation.
ResponsibilitiesWorks under the direction of the Ambulatory IT Managers along with IT Director of Ambulatory Solutions. Works in collaboration with the Ambulatory IT Analysts, interface teams and other IT teams.
� Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Health Related field six (4) years of related experience. Work experience may substitute for minimum education requirement.
� Previous experience working with an Electronic Health Record/Clinical Information System/Application Preferred.
� Strong analytical and problem solving skills are mandatory.
� Ability to travel between clinics.
� Upon hire analyst MUST complete Epic Ambulatory Certifications.
� Demonstrated knowledge of workflow processes in an ambulatory clinical environment required.
� Successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously.
� Work with customers to ensure user acceptance on build decisions, review and testing, prioritize and implement change requests, and analyze new functionality.
� Provides support to customers, staff, and management.
� Performs other duties as assigned.
