Education: Graduation from an accredited school of nursing. Bachelor's Degree preferred.
Experience: Minimum 3 years experience in perioperative and orthopedic nursing. Experience in patient and nursing education. Strong organizational skills. Experience in patient navigation and history of successful program development preferred.
Licenses/Certification: RN license current in the state of Colorado or compact state. Current BLS certification, ACLS maintenance expected. ONC expected within first year of hire.

The Gunnison Valley Health Senior Care Center has 50 licensed beds and is the only long-term residential care facility in Gunnison County. The scope of business can be separated into three general areas: skilled nursing care, Alzheimer’s/Dementia Care (or the “Special Care Unit”), and Home Medical Servic...es. Rehabilitation services are also offered at the Senior Care Center which include both occupational and physical therapy. GVH Assisted Living accommodates 15 residential suites to serve individuals age 55 and older with a keen recognition of each individual's privacy.
