The Nurse Practitioner (NP) is an independent member of the Medical Staff with delineated clinical privileges and is accountable for the evaluation, management, and coordination of care for a panel of patients under his/her care. Provides comprehensive outpatient primary, preventative, and wellness care as well as a spectrum of acute, episodic and end-of life care to Veterans including test studies, initiating consults/referrals, prescribing medication and supplies according to policy.
