Responsible for planning, organizing, coordinating and evaluating activities for effective and efficient operations of the Research Contracts department. Responsibilities include assisting in performing business and financial analysis, lead role for managing contracting activities, developing project specific budgets, developing management tools to track staff capacity/utilization, project portfolio, and financial planning. In addition, the incumbent will support Principal Investigators and/or study team internally within the Geisinger System and externally with sponsors including but not limited to experts from academia, health care systems, government, and the pharmaceutical and device industry, as appropriate. The incumbent will also work closely with leadership to improve business performance and support business model innovation. The candidate will also establish, support and troubleshoot research activities involving contracts and centralized study start up activities.
