JOB DESCRIPTION: Geisinger is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to provide comprehensive assessment and care delivery while demonstrating a high level of autonomy and expert skills in the diagnosis and management of patients.
*100% Sleep Medicine *Outpatient only *Monday-Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm, no call
*Join a team of 3 physicians and 1 Nurse Practitioner
*Perform consultations and establish treatment and follow up plans with patients
*Collaborate with other health care professionals to identify and resolve patient care issues
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Must have certificate of completion from an approved program for Nurse Practitioners and completion of Master's degree required. Must be eligible for licensure as a nurse practitioner in the state of PA. Current certification in BLS and an updated CPR card required. Degree of professional training to qualify as a nurse practitioner both professionally and legally to perform all services indicated by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing and licensure as described in the policy and procedure manual for utilization of nurse practitioners within the Geisinger System required. Completion of an approved graduate program required. Completion of an approved ACLS program preferred.
