Cottage Health seeks Research Scientist to conduct and analyze scientific studies to test clinical hypotheses. Independently and logically identifies issues and problems across clinical tasks and carries out solutions driven scientific surveys/studies or projects to solve health system and community based research questions. Develops and evaluates new clinical concepts, practices and procedures with research staff, statisticians and healthcare providers utilizing electronic medical records, external data warehouses and large community based clinical population.
D. degree in a scientific/technical field or biomedical/healthcare-related field.
8 years of experience working in clinical/translational research related to population health, outcomes research or generalizable patient care. Experienced in manuscript development and utilization of established mathematical and scientific techniques to compile and analyze data. Demonstrated publication record and receipt of grant funding.
Must have MS Office skills, strong interpersonal skills, and excellent written and oral communication.
