We are currently seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team in the PCU/Telemetry Unit on Day shift.
On our PCU/Telemetry Unit, youï¿½ll act as the leader of the interdisciplinary team providing compassionate professional nursing care to a variety of medical/surgical patients with specific neuro/cardiac needs, including stroke, cardiac related conditions, respiratory disorders and a variety of other conditions across the continuum of care for a diverse population of patients. Youï¿½ll be responsible for directing the work of Patient Care Assistants who will be there to support you in providing exemplary patient care.

SPECIAL SKILLS:Effective interpersonal skills and ability to work with team members required. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with occasional periods of above average pressure. Excellent customer service skills. Must have basic computer skills.
*Strongly preferred experience in TELE/ PCU or Stepdown or 2 years of Medical surgical expr. in an acute care setting*
Associate Degree in Nursing from an accredited nursing school and a current nursing license issued by the State of Arizona or other compact state.
Min 1 year of acute care experience is preferred in Tele or 2 years of Medsurg Current BLS and ACLS are required.
The ideal candidate will have, or be working toward, their Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and specialty certification.
