The Quality Assurance lead is responsible for providing assistance, coaching and training to staff members, including new hires, and for assisting the manager in leading a team of QA specialists performing quality inspections according to policies and procedures. The individual collaborates with internal and external business partners to drive accountability, provide recommendation for process improvements and improve overall quality of critical business processes.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Completes QA Specialists Duties
Assists Manager in leading, planning, organizing and communicating the daily activities of the QA team assigned. Monitors QA Specialists performance in terms of volume and accuracy
Assists in the creation of QA monthly reports that are prepared for site and processes management, surfaces relevant issues, analyzes and develops corrective action plans.
Assists the Manager in ensuring accurate and timely documentation of Policies and Procedures, internal documentation, training guides and reference material
Works with key stakeholders to discuss common understanding of QA process, audit issues, and action plans

Advanced knowledge of healthcare A/R
Excellent working knowledge of Patient Financial Services operations with specific focus on collections
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint.
Ability to identify client issues and collaborate with the QA team to drive accountability and process improvements, reducing denials, disputes, appeals and bad debt.
Ability to identify problems, gather and analyze information skillfully and provide recommendations for process improvements.
Demonstrated ability to build strong working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders (Centralized Operations, Compliance, Facilities).
Ability to coach team members.
Ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast paced environment
Change agent: Ability to assist the manager in challenging the status quo, identify improvement opportunities and carry them thru execution
Ability to motivate and mobilize Teams, creating a cohesive Team environment. Ability to prioritize, organize people and tasks
Able to assist Manager in developing and implementing QA Strategy
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
Include minimum education, technical training, and/or experience preferred to perform the job.
College degree in Healthcare Administration, Business or related field preferred.
2+ years of experience in healthcare administration with at least 1 year of experience in Centralized Operations Billing, Cash Collections, Denials, Disputes.
Previous Team Leadership experience a plus
Six Sigma training preferred
Medical billing and claims experience with an understanding of healthcare reimbursement process. And knowledge on critical business processes, primarily Billing, Collections, Dispute and Denial Management for different line of businesses (Medicare, Medicaid, Managed Care, etc).
