POSITION SUMMARY:

The MRI Tech Assistant is a staff member trained to provide supportive services to the MRI department including assisting with preparing patients for their MRI exam, assisting the MRI staff with the MRI screening process, making MRI copies on CD/DVD for patients and physicians, stocking the room and other duties. Works collaboratively with the MRI technologists, is customer focused, and strives to meet the department and hospital goals. Able to assist in other areas within the imaging department, when needed/requested.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Education:

High School or GED equivalent preferred.

Experience:

Unit Secretary/CNA/Phlebotomy or related experience preferred.

Other Qualifications:

Current BLS certification.
