Lead Trauma Registrar Full Time Days

Summary:
The Lead Trauma Registrar is tasked with abstracting, analyzing, and coding detailed medical records information as well as entering it into the Trauma Registry in a timely and accurate manner, as well as compiling statistics and preparing reports. The Lead Trauma Registrar is responsible for: working alongside the TNM, TPD, TMD in overseeing data implementation accuracy in the Trauma Registry, running reports on the daily basis to validate registry data, meeting State of Florida Trauma Center Standards and remaining in compliance with the Healthcare District contract, complying with all mandatory reporting required by the Trauma program, complying with corporate and hospital policy and procedures, managing patient information, promoting teamwork and positive customer service.
Requirements:
Education: High School Diploma or GED, Associate's and/or Bachelor's Degree Required, AIS/ISS and ICD 10 coding training required, Medical/Clinical background preferred, CSTR Certification preferred
Experience: 2-4 years of experience preferred
License
Certification CSTR Preferred
