This is a PRN As Needed position that will work at both the Memphis and Bartlett locations
This is a Temporary position and will be eliminated once we no longer require temperature checks at the entrances.
Will be scheduled for 8-hour shifts including some weekend shifts. Available Shift Times: Evenings: 1:00 pm - 9:00 pm Evenings: 3:00 pm - 11:00 pm Nights: 11:00 pm - 7:00 am
This position supports hospital operations by monitoring incoming employees, providers, patients, vendors and guests at designated screening stations.
Complete screening assessment for each individual entering the facilities including temperature checks and symptom questionnaires.
Uses established protocols to permit or restrict entrance based upon individual�s temperature and symptom responses.
Communicates visitation policies and other necessary information for patients, staff and other individuals requesting entrance to facilities.
Greet and communicates directions and escalates questions and concerns to management and other departments as needed.
Collects visitor and vendor information upon entrance, distributes visitor identification and PPE to visitors and staff as appropriate.
Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Basic knowledge of grammar, spelling, punctuation, and simple math like percentages, ratios, etc.
Experience: Patient/Customer facing experience is required. Healthcare experience is strongly preferred.
