| Position Summary Delivers advance professional and technical nursing care to patients admitted to the Medical Surgical Unit on the 4th Floor. Performs safe and effective nursing techniques for the comfort and well being of the patient. Nursing care delivered complies with the objectives, policies, mission statement, and vision of the hospital while utilizing the nursing process of assessment/re-assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Monitors, documents, and communicates patient condition as appropriate. The provision of direct and indirect patient care. Communicates with physicians about changes in the patient's clinical condition including results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology. Is able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment. Collaborates with multidisciplinary team members to provide appropriate care in accordance with unit specific standards. Additionally, is able to perform general nursing duties in all departments with adequate supervision. Participates in Performance improvement and CQI activities.

Current Florida RN license. Holds a current BLS card from the American Heart Association Holds a current ACLS card from the American Heart Association
