Clinical Trials Associate (Phlebotomy Required)

Description This is a full-time/non-exempt term position lasting six months to one year. This term position will assist investigators and research team with data collection activities for a household surveillance project in the Department of Health Policy. This research support position performs a variety of duties involved in the enrollment, collection of samples and data, and documentation of data and processes in support of an ongoing household transmission study. It assists in ensuring adherence to protocols, appropriate regulations, and deadlines and ensures timely enrollment and quality of information received. Expected responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following: * Identify eligible patients through electronic medical record reviews * Recruit eligible patients and household members * Consent eligible patients and household members * Instruct on the collection of respiratory samples including swabs, saliva, etc. and other samples e.g. blood * Complete data collection forms * Transport collected samples to research lab * Perform data entry and data error checking * Help train temporary data collectors Part of the data collection includes household visits. Candidates are expected to use their vehicle for transportation (mileage reimbursed). Additional Information: This is a full-time position, 40 hours per week.
