Summary:

In collaboration with the educators and administrative leaders, identifies needed staff education at the area hospitals. Develops short term and long term area hospital educational goals based on identified needs through the hospitals Quality Councils, annual assessments and recruitment/retention needs. Collaborates with area educators, hospital managers and peers to evaluate staff competencies. Has functional oversight of the Education Coordinators of the designated area and manages the planning, coordination and teaching of continuing education and in-service education for the identified area hospitals, including General Orientation, monthly education calendars, and corporate compliance agreement. Local travel required between facilities.
