The Middletown Emergency Department currently seeks an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse. Join our Free-Standing Emergency Department serving Middletown-Odessa-Townsend area.

The state-of-the-art full-service emergency department features:

• 18 treatment rooms.
• Staffing by board-certified emergency physicians and emergency nurses 24-hours-a-day, 7-days-a-week.
• Serving the most frequent emergency care needs.
• Dedicated on-site laboratory with walk-in hours from 7:30 a.m. - 4 p.m.

Requirements:

BSN required or commitment to obtaining within three years of date of hire.

Appropriate clinical experience. One year of nursing experience in an emergency department or critical care setting required.

At least one year of experience in a medical/surgical acute care environment is required.

BLS and ACLS certification required.

PALS, TNCC, ENPC, NRP, STABLE provider certification within 12 months in position.

Hours: This is an Evening position of 3 p.m. - 3 a.m.; 3 p.m. - 11:30 p.m. or 7 p.m. - 3:30 a.m.

Other: Weekend requirement is for every 3rd weekend. Holiday schedule follows department nursing guidelines for rotations and shifts.
