Summary
This is a Full-Time position on our Delivery Room & Post-Partum unit.
Will be scheduled for three 12-hour Overnight shifts each week including weekend coverage.
*Applicants with at least 1 year of L&D experience will be given priority.*
This role provides direct clinical patient care.
The role will assume responsibility for assessing, planning, implementing direct clinical care to assigned patients on a per shift basis, and unit level.
The role is responsible for supervision of staff to which appropriate care is delegated.
The role is accountable to support CNO to ensure high quality, safe and appropriate nursing care, competency of clinical staff, and appropriate resource management related to patient care.

Qualifications:
Education
Required: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
Preferred: Academic degree in nursing (Bachelors or Masters degree)
Experience
Required: At least 2 years (worked FT) of RN experience in ICU, ER or M/S
Preferred: At least 1 year of RN L&D experinece
Certifications
Required: Current RN license to practice in the state of TN. BLS. ACLS and NRP to be obtained within 6 months of hire date. AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Certification to be obtained within 8 months of hire.
