Mercy Critical Care ARNP Job Description
Work in a patient-focused, supportive, and collegial team setting, with full time critical care physicians, in state of the art ICU. Approximately 60/40 med/surg population, all surgical specialties represented except trauma and transplant. ARNP is expected to work semi-independently, and be able to deal with almost all clinical situations, but back up by the daytime intensivist is always available. On-site educational support and supervision for sonography, ventilator management, and procedures if needed.
Contracting with Critical Care Medicine, LLC, an independent group practice with contract for providing critical care services to Mercy Hospital.
ARNP Shifts are 12 hours, 7AM-7PM ( DAYTIME ONLY), seven days a week, proportionately distributed between weekday and weekend shifts.
Critical Care Intensivist on-site 24/7.
Multidisciplinary team setting.
Salary $135,000 per year, plus productivity bonus structure that can add 10-15% additional to base salary.
401K, with employer contribution.
Medical dental and eye plans. All optional, with CCM providing 50% of medical and 100% of dental and eye plan premiums.
3 weeks’ (12 shifts) paid vacation per year, paid as equivalent of 6 shifts in May and November.
5 days PTO/sick time per year.
Medical staff dues and application fees for Mercy Hospital paid by Employer.
Short and long term disability plans, also optional.
$1,500 yearly educational stipend.
Up to $5,000 in moving expenses.
Sign-on bonus negotiable.
Requirements: acute care certification, solid fund of clinical knowledge, prior experience in a critical/acute care ARNP role, proficiency with, or ability to learn, ICU sonography and common critical care procedures, ability to work constructively with colleagues, willingness to learn, and to provide best possible care.
