M Health Fairview is looking for a Registered Nurse (RN) on the IntensiveCare Unit (ICU) at Lakes Hospital in Wyoming, MN. This position is 48 - 72 hours per two weeks working 12 hour shifts on the NIGHT shift, variable schedule with an every third weekend rotation and a holiday rotation. We have10 Beds with onsite hospitalist physician support as well as 24/7 Intensivist/Tele-ICU support provided through the M Health Fairview System. We care for patients with many different diagnoses including but not limited to: sepsis, overdoses, withdrawals, surgical patients needing a higher level of care. Our complex patients require continuous hemodynamic monitoring, intense medication management, ongoing critical thinking, and excellent communication with team members and families. This is a faced-paced and highly technical medical environment.

The Registered Nurse is responsible for the assessment, planning, delivery, and evaluation of nursing care for all assigned patient population(s). The RN is responsible for performing these responsibilities in accordance with all policy, procedure, professional practice guidelines and the MN Nurse Practice Act. The RN coordinates care with members of the health care team and delegates responsibilities to others as appropriate.
Med/Surg, ICU Required:
Current MN RN Licensure in good standing
One year previous ICU RN experience
BLS certification from a healthcare providers
ACLS within 6 months of hire
TNCC within one year
