Consider an Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse (RN) opportunity with Wellstar. We have opportunities across our health system.
Assisting physicians during diagnostic procedures, responding to emergency situations, assessing new treatments, giving meds, and writing reports
Inserting and removing intravenous lines
Administering conscious sedation drugs and other drugs
Monitoring patient patterns and vital signs during the procedure
Ensuring patient data is updated and accurate to ensure continuity of care
Functioning as an integral member of the radiology team
Working in partnership with the health team to implement standards of care during the pre-, intra-, and post-procedure phase

Aside from having passion, strong interpersonal/collaborative skills and the ability to think on your feet, the ideal candidate will:
Be a graduate of an accredited/approved School of Nursing; BSN preferred.
Have a current/active license as a registered nurse in the State of Georgia. (NIHSS) Neuro certification required or obtained within 1 month of hire and AORN certification or Peri-operative certification.
Minimum of 1 year nursing experience in either ICU / CCU /ER/ IMCU and/ or 1 year Peri-operative experience.
Cath Lab or Interventional Radiology experience preferred.
