This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), a student loan payment reimbursement program. Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse provides care to patients in the Radiology Department and reports to the Nurse Manager, Specialty Clinics. Professional and clinical oversight is provided by the Office of the Nurse Executive. He/she is accountable for adhering to established policies, standards of care and standards of practice; demonstrating leadership and accomplishments in developing and implementing programs to improve the delivery of patient care; and the administration, management, supervision and evaluation of both patient care and personnel assigned to his/her designated clinical area. Utilizes evidence-based practice to provide quality nursing care for patients in the imaging setting. He/she provides appropriate care for veterans ranging in age from 18 through the geriatric years, taking into consideration diagnosis and physical, psychosocial, spiritual, cultural and educational needs of the patient.
