This is a Casual Pediatric BMT RN Care Coordinator position with temporary shift expected to last about 6 months. This position will cross-train between inpatient and outpatient support.

The clinician is an advocate for quality care and an inspirational and visionary role model for the advancement of professional nursing practice across the continuum of care. Patient Care and Evaluation of Clinical Practice
Provides greater than 50 percent direct patient care which may include treatments, counseling, promoting self-care, patient education, or administration of medications.
Identifies and defines problems and opportunities in practice.
Analyzes practice initiatives accounting for safety, timeliness, effectiveness, efficiency, efficacy and patient and family centeredness which ultimately improves health care outcomes.
Participates in designs and implements processes to evaluate outcomes or practice, practice patterns and systems of care within a practice setting and health care organization against national benchmarks to determine variances in practice, outcomes and population trends.
Uses information technology and research methods appropriately to: inform and guide the design of databases that generate meaningful evidence, analyze data, design evidence based interventions, predict and analyze outcomes, identify gaps in evidence for practice in partnership with Advance Practice Nurse Leaders (APNL) and Nursing Professional Practice Leader (NPPL).
Disseminates findings from evidencebased practice and research to improve healthcare outcomes.

Bachelors Degree in Nursing or related field. If bachelors is not in nursing then must have a masters degree in nursing.
