The role you’ll contribute:
Registered nurse accountable for providing patient care as a professional care giver or as leader of a nursing team providing care for patients. Collaborates with nursing and other health care personnel to provide safe and effective patient care for all age groups of patients.
Practices in clinic setting directed toward meeting patient needs.
The value you’ll bring to the team:
Demonstrates an ability to be flexible, organized and function under stressful situations. Cardiac Rehab RN
Demonstrates knowledge of cardiac monitoring, identifies dysrhythmias and treats appropriately based upon ACLS protocol. Monitors patient exercise sessions.
Formulates a teaching plan based upon identified learning needs and evaluates effectiveness of learning; family is included in teaching as appropriate.
Demonstrates extensive knowledge of cardiac disease/procedures/surgery: MI, CABG, coronary stents, angioplasty, etc.
Educates patients and families about cardiovascular risk factors, how to promote a healthy way of living through individual and group education and counseling sessions.
Manages, operates and maintains equipment safely and correctly demonstrates ability to teach patients about safe use of exercise equipment.
Cardiac Stress Testing
Demonstrates extensive knowledge of cardiac stress tests: treadmill, chemical stress test, nuclear stress test, echocardiogram.
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
Minimum qualifications: ADN or BSN; Kansas RN License
