JOB SUMMARY
The Sr. Director, Engineering is a key position for Conifer to help create technology that will put us at the leadership position in our industry. This hands-on Software Leader position will include building and implementing MVP solutions of products that will help us create the new wave of technology led innovation in healthcare for financial and clinical administration. You will be the lead technology strategist for development and implementation of a multitude of MVP products and take them being to competitive in the market. As the product reaches market and is ready for scaling, you will work closely with other technologists to produce key architectural capabilities, to ensure the stability, security, and scalability of our systems while ensuring high availablity and performance.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Your role will require you to work closely with subject matter experts in clinical and financial administration of a practice.
- Your projects will include working with existing technologies within the health systems; reimagine how work gets done within the scope of a clinical encounter all the way to completing the financial transaction for the patient-physician encounter, and technology solutions outside of the encounter into the back office. We will reimagine how a patient interacts with the system and the care providers
- As an IS Engineer, you would want to solve complex problems and have a natural attraction to ill-defined problems that seemingly are intractable and transform them into solutions.
- For this role, you find yourself in the middle of what seems to be chaos but you know you can find the order in it.
- To be successful as IS Engineering, you want to create an impact on solving complex problems for the love of technology.

- Help identify and create elegant solutions to complex business problems
- Be able to create clear, accurate and detailed specifications for broad outlines of requirements working closely with SMEs and client partners.
- Build prototype and POC�s to create new products leveraging new technologies and processes
- Create documentation for design and technology with the appropriate level of detail and maintain them through the time of development
- Continue to be a resource to review and critique future developments of products you helped develop.
- Document all work accurately and extensively to foster a culture of sharing knowledge
- Lead by example, delivering high-quality code for critical sections of the product and/or platform; champion quality standards, performance and scalability
- Provide cross-functional coordination and communication, and mentorship of less senior team members.
