Our ICU is an 11 bed critical care unit. We provide exceptional care for adult and pediatric patients with cardiac, surgical, trauma, septic, and respiratory diagnoses. We work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.

Your day.
As an RN, you need to know how to:
- Recognize and address patientsâ™ psychological and physical needs
- Foster continuity and quality of care with the best interest and well-being of patients and their families in mind
- Assess a patientsâ™ medical status upon admission
- Assist in developing individualized treatment plans
- Comply with evaluation, treatment and documentation guidelines
- Oversee care delivered by LPNs and/or CNAs
- Participate in clinical team conferences
- Demonstrates proficiency in titration of IV medications.
- Demonstrates skill and competency in IV venipuncture, hemo dynamic monitoring, Swan-Ganz, cardiac output arterial line, pacemakers (temporary and permanent), IAB, EKG, pulse ox, UAP and CVP.
- Ability to assess and interpret clinical reports and data to provide optimum care of critical patient (EKG, ABGâ™â™s, etc.).
- Demonstrates knowledge and competency in the transport of critical/high risk patients.
- Demonstrates knowledge and competency in care of moderate sedation and anesthetized patient.
- Responds to Code Blue house wide and demonstrates competency in directing code blue procedures.
- Monitors specific hemodynamic IV drips and meds with accuracy, documenting any changes in assessment and prompt notification to the physician.
- Demonstrates proficiency in cardiac monitoring; specialized central insertions and modalities of treatment; airway maintenance, BLS and ACLS skills
Your experience.

- ASN from an accredited program, required
- BSN from an accredited program required within 48 months of your hire, required
- Current Montana RN license or compact license with the ability to obtain Montana RN license, required
- Current BLS certification endorsed by the American Heart Association, required
- Current ACLS certification or the ability to obtain within 9 months of hire, required
- Current PALS or ENPC certification or the ability to obtain within 9 months of hire, required
- Current TNCC certification or the ability to obtain within 12 months of hire, required
- RN clinical experience with high acuity, multiple critical care patient populations, required
- National Certification in area of practice, preferred

Your experience
