RN, Registered Nurse- GI Lab
DescriptionSummary:This department is a smaller specialty unit that flourishes alongside our fantastic GI and Pulmonary physicians. The two roles within the GI/Pulmonary lab include Endoscopy Techs and Registered Nurses. Working in unison, these two roles care for patients pre-procedure, intraoperatively, and post-procedure. Some of the procedures performed in this department include: colonoscopy, EGD, PEG placement, BRAVO, esophageal dilation, bronchoscopy, and EBUS. The anesthesia group that assists with procedures is made up of 16 compassionate and technically skilled CRNAs.
