Atlantic Health System is seeking a Hospitalist - Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant - for our overnight shift at Overlook Medical Center. This is an excellent learning opportunity for new grads or APP's looking to refresh their Internal Medicine skills. Essential Job Functions:
Assist Nocturnist physician with patient admissions
Performs physical exams and clinical evaluations, enters admission orders
Orders and reviews diagnostic tests
Orders and monitors medications
Alternate scheduled shifts will act as a House officer
Answers floor calls to assess, monitor and treat patients with change in status
No code blue or Rapid Response responsibilities
Masters degree from accredited college or university required
APP NJ License required
1-3 years of previous experience strongly preferred
