ChristianaCare is currently seeking a Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for a full time Outpatient/Inpatient Surgical OB/GYN Advanced Practice Clinician (APC) position at ChristianaCare.

The Outpatient/Inpatient Surgical OB/GYN APC will work closely with our OB/GYN physicians and ancillary staff in the hospital to provide excellent patient care. ChristianaCare provides a range of medical services and procedures for women at all stages of life, focusing on both physical and emotional wellbeing of our patients.

The Outpatient/Inpatient Surgical OB/GYN APC will provide primary gynecologic and obstetric care to women in the outpatient clinic along with providing inpatient care, rounding on surgery patients and providing pre, peri and post-op services including

• Caring for complex adult surgical population
• Assisting responsibilities in the operating room
• Ordering and collecting test samples and assessing to update patient's plan of care as necessary
• Educating patients and families during patient's hospital stay
• Taking appropriate action when medical complications arise including alerting supervising obstetrician
• Within the scope of their education, training, and credentialing, provide full-scope care for patients in the inpatient setting

Requirements:

• Certificated Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Certified Physician Assistant
• License or license eligible as a ACNP or PA in the State of Delaware
• Minimum of two years of related experience required
