Oversees and coordinates day-to-day activities of nursing personnel in patient care units, provides direction to Clinical Staff, implements work of assigned units and coordinates activities with other patient care units and related departments.
Requirements:
Education/Skills
· Graduate of a Registered Nursing program, Bachelor Degree preferred
· Excellent customer service, negotiation and communication skills
· Minimum of 12 months dialysis experience obtained within the last 24 months
· Minimum of 12 months experience in an acute care setting required
· Intensive Care Unit (ICU), Critical Care Unit (CCU), Emergency Room (ER), or Medical Surgical (Med Surg) experience is preferred
· Supervisory experience preferred; willingness, desire, and ability to supervise required
· Certification in Nephrology Nursing preferred
Experience
· Minimum of 2 years clinical patient care experience in a relevant setting
· Minimum of 1 year of experience overseeing work of assigned units
