THE POSITION Certified Nurse Midwife Supervisor - Nights 4 10's
*Fulltime Only, NO Per Diem*
Summary:
The certified nurse midwife (CNM) is an advanced practice registered nurse (APRN) who is responsible for the assessment, plan, implementation, and evaluation of nurse midwifery care delivered to antepartum, intrapartum and postpartum, and newborn patients.
Detailed responsibilities:
Provide direct clinical services and management of mothers and babies according to their scope of practice or as defined in the standing orders, policies, procedures, and protocols for the certified nurse midwife.
Formulate and implement prenatal, intrapartum, postpartum, newborn and interconceptional care as defined by the nurse midwife scope of practice.
Provide patient and family education related to prenatal, intrapartum, postpartum, newborn and interconceptional care.
Perform and participate in quality/performance improvement activities and clinical research.
No Office hours!
*Supervisor Opportunity is optional, and depending on CNM's years of experience, if interested it would consist of 20% of one's daily responsibilities*
