The primary role of the Ambulatory Care Facility Periopetrative/Operating Room RN is to deliver safe, effective, and quality patient-family centered care in the operating room for all pediatric patient populations. The Perioperative RN's goal is to implement the patient care delivery model for the patient and their family. Additionally, the Perioperative RN is responsible and accountable for assessing, planning, providing, and evaluating, the care provided to assigned patients. The Operating Room RN is responsible for providing a safe environment for the surgical patient and surgical team.
