Overview
Atlantic Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse First Assists (RNFA) at Newton Medical Center. We are seeking per diem candidates (can be a new grad RNFA) who would like to be on-call (can be at home-within 30 minutes of hospital or in on-call room at the hospital-you choose) one weekend per month - 48 hours and flexibility for a weekday shift. Responsibilities
Candidate will have the ability to utilize the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate the plan of care for patients served. Through the model of Shared Governance, collaborate with all members of the health care team with a focus on promoting evidenced based care within a healing culture for the patient population served and their families.
Candidate will demonstrate and embrace the PRIDE core values (Professionalism, Respect, Involvement, Dignity and Excellence) in every aspect of their job.
Candidate must have excellent communication and computer skills.
Will assist with surgical cases including orthopedics and general surgery.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
Minimum Education:
Graduate from an accredited school of Nursing required
BSN required
License/Certifications:
Valid New Jersey Nursing License
Certificate from an accredited RNFA program required
BLS/ACLS certification required
CNOR preferred
Relevant Experience:
1 year of previous expereince is a plus
Must be qualified to be credentialed by the Medical Staff Office.
Ability to scrub/assist in all specialties as assigned.
Must have the ability to stand for long periods of time, push pull and lift at least 25 pounds.
Must be a Team Player.
