Advanced Practice Registered Nurses / Physician Assistants
ChristianaCare is looking for a Physician Assistant or a Psychiatric Mental Health Practitioner to join our innovative year-long post-graduate training program in Behavioral Health. The Behavioral Health APC Fellowship Program is a twelve-month intensive training program for new Advanced Practice Clinicians that provides mentoring, diverse clinical experience in subspecialties, and a customized didactic education in psychiatry through case study, small-group discussion, simulation, and participation in department-wide lectures. This fellowship program is both supportive and challenging as the Behavioral Health APC Fellow will manage patients with a variety of complex diagnoses under the direct guidance and supervision of a psychiatrist and experienced advanced practice provider. The program is perfect for an APC who is looking to develop into the role of a Behavioral Health Advanced Practice Provider in a structured environment with a Fellowship Coordinator providing guidance throughout the program.
The Behavioral Health APC Fellow will receive an annual salary of $78,000. Fellows are considered full-time employees of ChristianaCare with benefits. The expectation is that fellows who meet performance objectives and demonstrate CCHS values will apply for permanent employment as a Behavioral Health APC with ChristianaCare after completing the program at a rate commensurate with +1 year of clinical experience.
This program allows for a supported transition into the role of a Behavioral Health APC and we hope you consider joining ChristianaCare on this journey!
