Atlantic Health System is Seeking an Endocrine Nurse Practitioner for a Great Opportunity in Central New Jersey
Atlantic Health System, one of New Jersey's largest non-profit healthcare networks, is seeking an Endocrine Nurse Practitioner (NP) to support the Endocrine Services at Oakhurst, NJ. The ideal candidate is expected have 3-5 years of experience in endocrinology.
Responsibilities
As an Endocrine NP, you will have a crucial role in delivering specialized endocrine and diabetes care to adult patients aged 18 and above. Your responsibilities will include providing comprehensive endocrine and diabetes care to patients, ensuring high-quality, evidence-based practice. Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, you will develop and implement individualized treatment plans, educate, and support patients in self-management of their conditions, and contribute to the growth and advancement of the Endocrine program through active participation in quality improvement initiatives. Additionally, you will engage in continuous learning and professional development to stay updated with the latest advancements in the field.
Qualifications
Graduated from accredited APN/PA program
Master's degree required
Must be a Certified Diabetes Counselor Education Specialist (CDCES)
ACLS and BLS certification required
Minimum 3-5 years of Endocrinology experience preferred
Must have excellent communication and computer skills
Strong work ethic and a team player who can work independently
