Apply to chat with a recruiter about the details! The 5th Floor Medical Surgical department at St. Anthony Hospital is a 36-bed medical surgical unit specializing in neuro trauma and ortho trauma. Our department is the main service line for our patients that need the care that a Level 1 Trauma Center Provides. Our typical patient diagnoses are motor vehicle accidents/motorcycle accidents, traumatic brain injuries, subdural hematomas, subarachnoid hemorrhages, spinal cord injuries, and spinal surgeries.  Patients are from all age groups (usually 16 years and above) with occasional overflow of general med/surg patients. We have a strong culture of teamwork where we pride ourselves on delivering high quality, safe patient care. Our team is a committed, caring group of colleagues who have a passion for creating positive patient interactions. Our medical surgical unit lends itself to developing great relationships with our coworkers and we work together to provide excellent patient care. We are a great starting point for someone interested in a future in Critical Care.  What You Bring/Job Requirements:In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following: *Education Requirements** Associates Degree in Nursing required; Nursing Diploma or by endorsement* Bachelors Degree in Nursing preferred* Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required for new graduates, preferred for experienced RNs*Experience Requirements** One year experience preferred* Nursing skills and knowledge base specific to specialty*Licenses/Certification Requirements** RN License required; Current state nursing licenses or valid RN license from a participating state in the National Licensure Compact*Physical Requirements ** Medium Work - (Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly)*The schedule for this position is three 12-hour shifts per week and rotating weekends(7pm-7am)*Your Connected Community:When people and places align, incredible things happen.
