You will promote the optimal health, well-being and safety of the patient through use of the nursing process and in accordance with patient care standards, guidelines and the State Nurse Practice Act, and demonstrate personal accountability for relationship-based care, organizational mission, and core values.What You Bring/Job Requirements:In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following: * RN License required; KS state nursing licenses or RN license from a participating state in the National Licensure Compact* Nursing Diploma or Associates Degree in Nursing required; Bachelors Degree in Nursing preferred* Emergency Department (ED) RN experience preferred* BLS from the American Heart Association required* ACLS from the American Heart Association required within six months of hire or transfer* PALS from the American Heart Association or ENPC required within six months of hire or transfer* NIHSS and TNCC also required within six months of hire or transfer* **Department covers costs of additional certifications required within the six  month timeframe listed above*** One RN year experience preferred* Nursing skills and knowledge base specific to specialtyPhysical Requirements - Medium Work - (Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly)Your Connected Community:Bob Wilson Memorial Hospital is a 26-bed facility serving the community since 1951 with a comprehensive range of inpatient and outpatient services.
