WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

Franciscan Physician Network is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to work in our in-house hospitalist program and further strengthen our existing hospitalist service located at Franciscan Physician Network IMPACT Center in Mooresville, IN. This advanced practice provider will work at the top of their license as they cover the hospitalist program's inpatients (including ICU), admissions from the Emergency Dept and provide cross-coverage (with remote hospitalist physician back-up).

Franciscan Health Mooresville is positioned for growth with planned expansions of its medical office buildings to increase specialty coverage. This new provider will join 4 full-time Hospitalists and an advanced practice provider already covering the program.

WHAT WE NEED:

Candidate having at least two years of post-training acute care experience is preferred, not required. The candidate must have a strong focus on clinical excellence and patient satisfaction. Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant will need to work collaboratively with patients and their hospitalist physician and emergency department colleagues to coordinate and deliver the highest quality of care.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT:

• Flexible full-time schedule; no weekends or holidays
• Average inpatient volume: 10 to 15 patients per day
• Strong mentorship from physicians in the practice
• Responsibilities will include admitting patients, rounding responsibilities, coordination of care within the team, pre-operative assessments, reviewing labs, calling referring providers, communicating & collaborating with support staff & surgery teams, reviewing & interpreting EKGs
• On-site lab and x-ray
